FAQ

  • How do I become a part of Deadline?
To be a part of the Deadline team, you must first be enrolled in the Student Activities class at Middle College High School. This class is reserved for juniors and seniors. At the beginning of the year, you will be asked to fill out a survey where you can express your desire to work on the Deadline. Please remember that spots for any team are never guaranteed.
  • What is the Deadline?
Deadline is the Middle College High School Newspaper. We report on school news, in-depth stories, and fun articles for MCHS students to enjoy reading. To learn more about us, visit the About section.
  • Can I still provide input for Deadline even if I'm not on the team?
Yes! The Deadline team takes the thoughts and opinions of our peers into serious consideration when putting together our newspaper. If you need to contact us for any reason, directly message us on Instagram @mchsdeadline.
  • Will there still be a hard copy of the paper?
At this moment, we are unsure about the future of physical Deadlines. Because of the current pandemic, we will be using this website to relay our issues. Hopefully, when the new school year rolls around, we will be able to go back to creating physical copies of Deadline.
